At Kingshill Studios, our Magic sessions are designed to celebrate imagination through beautifully styled, immersive portrait experiences. Each set is carefully created to transport children into a world of adventure, storytelling and wonder, resulting in portraits that feel timeless and unforgettable.
These aren’t simply themed photoshoots. They’re experiences your child will remember long after the costumes have been packed away.
Every Magic session is a Limited Edition Experience, created exclusively for a small number of families each year.
Each set is individually designed and built in the studio, which means these sessions are only available on carefully selected dates and in very limited numbers.
Once they’re fully booked, they disappear until the next time that theme returns.

A £10 non-refundable booking fee secures your session and is donated directly to the Wendy Louise Community Fund, established in memory of Susan’s late sister, Wendy.
Once you’ve booked your session, you’ll receive everything you need to prepare, including information about clothing, timings and what to expect on the day.
When you arrive at the studio, your child will be welcomed into a carefully designed magical world where they’re encouraged to explore, play and simply enjoy the experience.
Sessions are gently guided while allowing plenty of opportunity for natural expressions, laughter and imagination to shine through.
A few days later, your online gallery will be ready for you to view from the comfort of your own home, where you can choose your favourite collection.
With over twenty years of experience working with children as both a teacher and Headteacher, I know that the best photographs happen when children feel comfortable enough to simply be themselves.
